someone is considered bed /chair-bound when they have become very weak and are no longer able to move easily, instead, they are confined to their chair or bed. We understand that being or having your loved one considered bedridden, doesn’t only take a toll on the patient’s life, but also those who take care of him or her. At Herts Healthcare, we have well-trained and experienced staff to support your loved one both emotionally and physically.
PREVENTING BEDSORES
Bed sores are a common issue among those who continuously lie in bed for several hours or days on end. They are a result of interrupted blood supply within vulnerable parts of the body and are very painful. Our care professionals are well-trained on how to prevent and manage bedsores when the need arises and consequently leading to comfort and convenience.

At Herts Healthcare, we have well-trained and highly skilled professionals who share your interest and are compassionate about delivering care and support in the comfort of your home, observing your dignity, and independence, and helping you to live well at home, exactly as you wish. Our care plans are tailored to your individual needs including bathing, dental care, feeding, clothing, hospital appointments, haircuts and shaving, fingernails, and toenail cutting, etc.
Continence care, catheter-care and practicing routinely repositioning during the day or night and the use of sliding sheets, hoists and pillows to support safe care and mobility to our clients.
