Companionship is the presence or company of another person whom you delight in spending time with such as your carefully matched Care Professional. Loneliness and isolation play a significant role in one’s mental health resulting in impacting physical health.

Companionship Care?

When one feels happy and positive, they tend to recover from illness or injury quicker, and their bodies function better.

Companionship care is important because it can:

  • Improve mental well-being. Arguably the biggest benefit of companionship care is that it improves mental well-being while lessening the chance of depression
  • Help you or your loved one to keep active and gives them the opportunity to make new friends.
  • Make sure you or your loved one have company and someone to socialize with
  • Make you or your loved one build confidence in going in and  outside the home
  • Encourage individual participation in activities inside and outside your comfort zone
  • Help families take a rest from caring with peace of mind and reduces stress on individuals and families.
